i absolutely love this editorial. truly artistic.

i don't care what people say, the rush is worth the price i pay.

i got carried away with all the pictures of abbey, there were too many good ones to choose from. i flirted with the idea of making this a abbey & freja post, but just this video of freja is too much to handle.

these are a few of the things i'm liking at the moment. as we enter the new year, i've noticed a few posts buzzing around the blogs about the best editorials/ad campaigns of the decade... i have to say this Alberta Ferretti ad was & is definitely one of my favorites. just the sheer genius of it, it's beautiful. not to mention shot by steven meisel, who is a genius.


next is the tom binns necklace. i could stare at it for hours. to take diamonds and pearls, which are already a great mix, and throw in something as random as safety pins... blair waldorf meets 90's grunge.


we have the abbey lee editorial next, which i'm sure many of you have already came across... a lot of people are saying enough of abbey being topless, "we get it", but i think this is SO beautiful. anyone who can look that edgy while remaining so elegant at the same time has my vote.


this editorial, to be honest i don't remember where it came from or who it is, i love everything from the model to the location. (note to self: start making a lot of money in a short amount of time so i can afford a house with floor-to-ceiling windows.)


mk. need i say more? she looks like she rolled out of bed like that... effortlessly cool.


winter in new york city. sometimes i take it for granted, and i have to step back and realize how lucky i am to live in new york. hands down one of the most beautiful places in the world. it's odd to think how something so dirty and noisy and be so amazing, but i wouldn't trade it for anything. okay, except maybe paris, but that's it ;o)

this is my first post as a 'blogger'. i decided to create a one because i have WAY too many thoughts and ideas to keep them bottled up. i'm so excited to share my world with you & i welcome any comments ...this is a Freja editorial i'm obsessed with from the september british Vogue. she's one of my absolute FAVORITE models. i think she's so beautiful and unique, and her tattoos are simple and gorgeous. photographers hardly airbrush them out, which is rare. i love the fact that her agency once told her "you can do whatever you want just don't cut that amazing hair" ...and now she rocks a sexy short cut, haha. I look forward to sharing my inspirations with you all <3
